I have seen significant numbers of posts about problems with async IO on the various conbinations of SLES,Oracle and bitness.
My question is whether ANYBODY is successfully using async IO with 9.2.06 on 32 bit SLES9.
For the life of me I can't figure out how you folks are so patient with async working, not working, maybe, patches, etc. Drives me crazy...since I'm used to simply installing the ODM library and watching it NO-OP out all the *async* and filesystemio_options parameters and actually working :-)
But, I need to look into async IO on ext3 for some tests.
I would appreciate the info. Thanks
